Also known as, “The Wine Detective”, Sarah is a London-based award winning freelance wine writer, educator, international wine judge and Portugal Regional Chair for Decanter World Wine Awards. Known for her expertise on Australian wines, she presents and chairs tutored tastings and seminars nationally to consumers and members of the wine trade alike.
In 2010, Sarah was one of 14 international opinion leaders selected for The Landmark Australia Tutorial 2010 in the Yarra Valley. In addition to publishing thewinedetective.co.uk, she writes about Australia for leading wine magazines, including Decanter, The World of Fine Wine, The Drinks Business, OLN and Imbibe. She also consulted on Australia for the upcoming seventh edition of The World Atlas of Wine by Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson MW.
