Prior to opening Frankly Wines, Christy spent about 7 years working at Moët Hennessy USA, the wine and spirits division of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. Her last three years there were spent managing the US business for the company’s Australia and New Zealand portfolio, which also involved traveling across the country to visit more wine stores than she cared to count.
In 2007, she finally succumbed to the retail bug, opened Frankly Wines and settled into life behind the counter. At Frankly Wines, Christy tries to balance wine-geek-speak with a sense of fun. They offer their version of the well-stocked wine closet: daily essentials, quirky finds, and higher end treasures, as well as a rotating selection of Sampler Packs, Wine Clubs, free tastings, and other events.
