Christopher Chan, Founder and Executive Director of The Seattle Wine Awards
Christopher has served as the Director of Wine & Spirits at Seattle's historic Oregon Wine Awards Executive Director Christopher Chan Rainier Club since 1997.
Christopher Chan is the Founder and Executive Director of Washington State’s most comprehensive wine recognition program – The Seattle Wine Awards. This event brings together the regions foremost wine professionals to taste and evaluate Washington’s vintage wine releases in an effort to recognize, celebrate and promote the best of Washington wine.
Christopher Chan is also an Advanced Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers and has served as the Director of Wine and Spirits at Seattle's historic Oregon Wine Awards Executive Director Christopher Chan Rainier Club since 1997. His 25 years in Hospitality, Communications degree from the University of Washington and his background in both television promotions and sports/special event marketing have helped him develop a world-class wine event that the entire Oregon wine industry can be proud of.
