She's been Head Sommelier of restaurants such as Manly Pavilion, 4Fourteen and is now consulting on numerous lists and is Head Sommelier for China Lane.
Samantha has been working in the Wine Industry for just shy of a decade now. From humble beginnings at an upscale wine store, her love and understanding of wine grew over many years before deciding she wanted to fully immerse herself in the industry so she could one day write about wine. This led her to become a sommelier so she could have a greater access to all the different styles of wine and develop food and wine matching skills.
She has been the Head Sommelier of restaurants such as Manly Pavilion, 4Fourteen and is now currently consulting on numerous lists in Sydney and working as the Head Sommelier for China Lane. Samantha also writes about wine regularly with articles published in Gourmet Traveller Wine, Time Out Sydney and has a wine blog fullglasses.com.
