Launched just over two and half years ago, Crackawines.com.au is now Australia’s largest wine site that allows brands to connect directly with wine consumers through digital channels. The site has been included in the TOP 50 Best Online Retailers in Australia and drives over 1 million wine searches per month.
Leveraging it's success in Australia, Dean is now focused on expanding Crackawines.com.au into other key international wine markets, providing Australian and New Zealand wineries with the first global D2C platform to service those markets.
First venturing into the wine industry in 1999, Dean established three successful businesses before launching Crackawines.com.au. His first enterprise, Wine Ark, provided offsite climate-controlled storage for wine collectors, managing well over $100m of wine. Dean then went on to launch wine-xchange.com.au, an online wine trading platform that allows collectors to trade perfectly stored vintage wine. Lastly, the Cellar Club, an ultra premium wine club for wine collectors.
