Jennie Mack, Managing Director and Senior Wine Educator

Jennie Mack is the Founder and Managing Director of Asia Wine Service and Education Centre (AWSEC®), with head office based in Hong Kong and offices around Asia. Jennie holds the Diploma from the UK’s Wine & Spirit Education Trust®, for whom she runs Hong Kong’s only centre offering courses and exams up to and
including Diploma level, a Level 2 qualification from the International Sommelier Guild (ISG), French Wine Scholar qualification with the French Wine Society for whom we also offer courses and programs. Jennie is also the accredited educator for the Sud de France Master Level program.

AWSEC is also an approved centre for courses from the Bordeaux L’Ecole du Vin (Bordeaux Wine School) after Jennie was selected to go on an extensive training programme and series of tests in Bordeaux. Jennie is also a Certified Spanish Wine Educator, Wine Australia A+ Wine Specialist and Barossa Wine School Educator. Just recently, Jennie has completed the Professional Program for New Zealand Wines. Jennie’s company was also involved in the global wine summit Winefuture Hong Kong 2011 featuring international wine personalities like Robert Parker Jr., Jancis Robinson MW, Steven Spurrier, and 40 more from all over the world.

Jennie conducts Masterclasses at the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair, HOFEX and she also acts as wine judge at wine competitions, sommelier competitions, participated in the Berlin Tasting conducted by Errazuriz, and forms part of tasting panels for various local wine publications. Jennie was a guest wine expert on a local TV programme on Food and Science and for a digital radio programme on Food and Wine. She has also been featured in numerous local magazines and papers.
