Angel Rivas, Editor, Reporter and Wine Specialist for Reforma Newspaper

Born in Mexico City, Angel has worked as a food and wine journalist in Reforma newspaper for 13 years. The paper has over 275,000 readers in Mexico city alone and Angel manages the gastronomic section of the newspaper called Buena Mesa. Originally a lifestyle columnist, Angel started specialising in the wine field at the same time Mexico's wine consumption began to rise strongly. 

Angel has also become a sommelier, wine judge and expert in this field, being elected one of the Most Influential People in the Wine Business in Mexico. Angel is passionate about informing and teaching people about wine regions and the pleasure of this drink.
