The Logan Sauvignon Blanc is our biggest selling wine in the Logan range. Sauvignon Blanc is just so well suited to the highest vineyard sights in Orange so it’s no surprise to see sauvy’s from this region gaining recognition as a rival to those from New Zealand. While Orange Sauvignon Blancs retain a real varietal pungency as do those from NZ, the differences lie in the added texture and minerality achieved from Orange.
The Logan Sauvignon Blanc is extremely vibrant and varietal in a tropical and white flowers way rather than the green herbaceous characters so often associated with this variety. It is a very aromatic wine, bursting with fresh guava, lime and sage with a delicately textured palate (due to terroir as well as a small portion being fermented in Hungarian oak barrels), strong mineral backbone and a finish that just doesn’t, well...finish!
RRP (AUD): $22
